The routes we run
The exile route (Article 81)
A 1940 Latvian citizen who fled or was deported during the occupations. Their direct descendants can register, with no generation cap, and keep their US citizenship.
The continuity route (Section 2(1))
A 1940 Latvian citizen who stayed. A second path for descendants where the flight element isn't there, built on Latvia's continuity of citizenship.
